B2B Marketers’ Favorite Tactics and Budget Outlooks

A recent survey seems to indicate that B2B marketers are taking an optimistic look at next year, from a financial standpoint. According to the survey conducted by Sagefrog Marketing Group and involving U.S. marketing and management professionals in the B2B sector, nearly half expect a boost in their marketing budgets for 2014. The study showed that 45% expect their budgets to increase, while 52% expect their budgets to stay the same.

And where will they be spending those marketing dollars? Mainly online, from the looks of it. The respondents cited websites as their most popular marketing channel, followed by email marketing, social media and search engine optimization.

With regards to social media, specific tactics most used by marketers were social networks, blogs and video sharing.
