Online video on the rise for B2B marketers

In fact, videos ranked sixth in B2B marketing usage with 70 percent of content marketers using online video in their internet marketing strategy, according to the B2B Content Marketing Benchmarks, Budgets and Trends report.

In other words, more B2B marketing professionals are turning to video to garner attention for their products. Here are three ways to best utilize online video:

1. Optimize video content
Make sure the video has a large audience by providing SEO content on the video. Select which keyword or phrase to use in reference to the video and its content, and strategically place the keywords or phrases in the title, captions and tags. 

2. Brand company image
Video is a visually appealing and engaging way to get consumers' attention, making it the perfect opportunity to get the company logo and initiative out there.

3. Employ social media
Social media outlets allow videos to be shared amongst users quickly and easily. Letting the surrounding community know about the brand, products and upcoming events will not only benefit the company, but also the consumers who are interested in the product.
