LinkedIn tips for marketing strategies
LinkedIn is not only a good tool for content marketing strategies, but it is also the top social media site used by executives, according to a recent survey conducted by DHR International. More business professionals are sharing content on LinkedIn than ever before. TechSavvy Global CEO Scott Steinberg recently wrote an article that offers tips geared towards helping companies with LinkedIn marketing strategies.
1. Value the customer base
One of the quickest ways for a brand to garner a good reputation on LinkedIn is to show appreciation for followers. Acknowledge every time they share or comment on the content pushed out into the marketplace. Writing a recommendation or endorsing others' skills on LinkedIn is another simple way to demonstrate gratitude and attract attention.
2. Stand out by offering something special
Using incentives such as a discounts or special offers on LinkedIn is a cost-effective way to draw in influencers and drive sales. If an influencer "likes" or shares a promotion, the activity will appear in the news feeds of their connections, boosting the brand's visibility.
3. Use questions
Asking a LinkedIn audience for feedback not only increases engagement, but is also good for marketing research. Simple questions posed on LinkedIn and other social media sites are usually likely to attract more comments than when a brand posts a declarative statement or link alone.
