The site will also provide relevant resources so as to engage users as well as be proactive in helping them nurture their business. Social networking has taken on a new meaning for company owners in the past few years, and LinkedIn is taking it a step further by targeting specific professional sectors. Online forums and designated social networks can grow a backbone of business networking in today’s corporate world.
B2B marketing company BtoB’s research team conducted a survey that found B2B marketers are using LinkedIn as their main networking site. Thirty percent of respondents are using LinkedIn for their social media marketing. LinkedIn not only creates an atmosphere for professionals to connect in the business industry, it allows firms to engage in social media as a strong marketing tactic.
