Google merges analytics tool

When managing your business' website, remaining updated on the types of leads that visit your site is essential for higher conversion rates. Google offers webmasters a variety of tools to help them maintain a functional and optimized site, but changes occur regularly, and improvements are often made to each marketing solution.

For example, Google Insights for Search, the search engine's tool for comparing search data over time, recently merged into the company's Trends tool. Additionally, Hot Searches have been expanded from U.S.-only to include data from Japan, Singapore and India.

To help webmasters gain greater control over their websites, Google Trends now uses HTML5-based Google Chart Tools, which help users access information on their mobile devices. This update allows business owners to make changes to their search engine marketing efforts even when they're not in the office.

By using website analytics and features provided by Google, business professionals can make sure their web pages produce lucrative leads and work toward greater brand visibility. When a marketing team can keep track of traffic from their mobile devices, the professionals can adapt quickly to new trends, and take advantages of evolutions in the sales cycle.
