Google AdWords can be Customized to a Device
Google AdWords has added “if” functions to their AdWords feature. This is a global rollout and can be used by advertisers to customize their messages depending on what type of device is being used or what specific criteria the ad viewer displays. What this means is that AdWords can now be programmed to display different messages depending on the type of device the web searcher is using to view the ad.
As an example, if the person viewing the ad is using a desktop device, one type of ad will appear (“save 10% off the regular price right now!”). If the same person viewing the ad is using their smartphone, a different type of ad will appear (“buy through your phone right now!”).
B2B businesses that use paid search advertising would be wise to review their ads, consider the various types of prospects who could be viewing the ads as well as customized offers they can make to boost conversion and then modify their ads accordingly.
KEO Marketing’s AdWords experts can help you improve your PPC campaigns using the “if” function. If you would like a complimentary AdWords evaluation contact KEO Marketing or call us at 888-702-0679.
