Mobile marketing tips to encourage brand loyalty
People research information and interact in social networks on their mobiles devices many times throughout the day. Mobile advertising is up 132 percent, and mobile browsing is expected to surpass desktop engagement by 2014, according to Forbes. Businesses should view these findings as a sign to develop unique, effective mobile content marketing. Here are three tips to increase brand loyalty among on-the-go audiences:
1. Make a mobile company website. Brands should create versions of websites and blogs that can be easily read on smartphones and tablets. Simple designs with minimal text and bold, interesting images make for a more pleasant viewing experience. It’s also a good idea to put vital information, like contact information, front and center.
2. Develop applications. Companies may consider creating mobile apps for clients to access account information and company resources remotely. These tools should be convenient, reliable and user-friendly.
3. Get social. Brands should consider whether the content they post on their social media profiles is fit for mobile. When people check their smartphones, they want to be entertained and/or informed in five minutes or less. Graphs and comics are a great way to grab user attention.
