2 cloud computing trends for 2013

Cloud computing is extremely prevalent and evolving at an unexpected rate, therefore it's important to implement an online marketing strategy that will coincide with how consumers are interacting on the internet.

A recent survey by computing solutions company Citrix revealed that 54 percent of people say they rarely use or never use the cloud, but in fact 95 percent of people who don't think they're using the cloud are actually using it. Thirty-two percent believe the cloud is a futuristic term, even though it is already very much in use.

The upcoming year will see many advances in cloud computing, which will bring consumers to a closer awareness about how affects their online activity. Here are two 2013 cloud trends to look out for:

Local clouds: Experts predict the cloud will become more personal as the year goes on and local cloud networks are established. People are starting to trust the internet more with their confidential information, and such networks will allow people to store that information on the internet.

Cloud communities: Networks are quickly being built for specific industries and certain markets. Cloud communities will make it easier for companies to communicate with each other as well as provide security for industries, such as government, healthcare and financial realms.
