Six-Month GPGLCC Study Scores KEO Marketing at 100 Percent for Actively Supporting LGBT Workers and Community
PHOENIX, April 24, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — B2B marketing agency, KEO Marketing Inc. announced it has received the highest rating on the “Business Equality Index” survey recently released by the Greater Phoenix Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (GPGLCC). Conducted over a six-month period, the GPGLCC study measures how equitably local businesses treat their Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) employees.
KEO Marketing scored a perfect 100 percent for actively promoting workplace equality and supporting LGBT workers. Other contributing factors to the company’s high score were benefit provisions for domestic partners, active participation in the LGBT community, as well as advertising, donating and volunteering on behalf of LGBT issues and causes.
This study has only been conducted twice in Arizona history and only a few similar studies have been conducted in the United States. Of the total number of companies responding, 19 employers scored 100 percent, including KEO Marketing. A total of 45 companies scored 80 percent or higher.
