Creative Ways To Make LinkedIn Work For Your Social Networking Campaign
Creative Ways To Make LinkedIn Work For Your
LinkedIn is the largest professional network in the world and it’s still growing. With over 200,000,000 users, there are a lot of opportunities for social networking with current and potential clients. But with all the opportunities comes more competition from within your industry. Combat this by publishing compelling content and thinking creatively in using LinkedIn.
Recently Social Media Examiner released an article highlighting creative ways companies are using LinkedIn. They featured Hubspot, CNBC, LinkedIn, Facebook and American Airlines as their examples. The key take-a-ways from the article were:
Create a Campaign to Engage
Develop an ongoing campaign around company’s service or product. Ask a series of related questions to garner engagement and make sure to keep the conversation going with the users who respond. This will increase your visibility across LinkedIn as users comment on and share your content.
Have a strong call to action on your LinkedIn page with a link to where you want to user to go. Offer content relating to your product or service, like an ebook or demo, and make sure that where they click to get the information is measurable.
Promote Other Social Channels
LinkedIn allows companies to have 3 rotating banners in the products and services section. These banners can link to a company’s website or their social profile. Make sure to take advantage of these banners to promote campaigns on other outlets. Also use posts to promote other channels, for example, if your company publishes videos to Youtube, then use LinkedIn posts to invite users to view your video on that social channel.
