Web Development, Email Marketing Top B2B Priorities in 2013

A recent survey conducted by B2B Magazine found that nearly half of all B2B marketers plan to increase their overall marketing budgets this year and focus on web development, email marketing and social media as their top three priorities.


70% of all respondents plan to spend more on their website this year, 62% stated they will be investing more into e-mail marketing and over 56% of respondents surveyed stated they will be spending more being social.

B2B organizations tend to spend their money in the places they think will be the most effective in gaining new leads and getting their content in front of prospects. 93% of respondents stated they use their website for content marketing, such as articles, blog posts, whitepapers or case studies.

Content marketing has proven to be one of the most effective and successful marketing tactics for B2B organizations in recent years, and continues to be a major focus with 87% of US B2B marketers employing some form of content marketing into their strategy for 2013.
