Google’s Chrome Browser is Popular in the United Kingdom
Google’s Chrome just overtook Mozilla’s Firefox to become the UK’s second-most-popular web browser. In just three years since its launch, Chrome achieved 22% of Britain’s users.
Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is also losing market share to Chrome, though it remains the most popular for UK user with a 45% share of the market
In the United States, Chrome and Apple’s Safari web browsers both gained market share through July, taking points from both IE and Firefox. These gains may be attributable to the browsers’ abilities to render webpages more quickly on PCs and Macs.
