Search Engine Optimization Phoenix: Google Keyword Tool Update

Google recently announced that its updated Keyword Tool is officially out of beta. The Keyword Tool, which combines features from Google’s previous Keyword Tool as well as their Search-based Keyword Tool, is now the only available Keyword Tool in AdWords.

The updated Keyword Tool provides users with flexible search options (search by any website/URL, category and combination of keywords and receive a single set of search results), easier keyword refinement, the ability to add negative keywords directly from the keyword list as well as several advanced options including search statistics for mobile users and the ability to use data filters based on search, local searches and ad share.

Google also added that it has altered the way the calculate “Local Monthly Searches” and “Global Monthly Searches.” According to Google, “Statistics in these columns are now based on search traffic only.”
